New Years Show!!!

Hey there!!! :)
Mimi has a concert today.... Great way to bring in 2012!!!
She will be performing at the Pasadena Rose Bowl Parade!!!!! We are so excited for her, AND We have never been to the Rose Bowl in person. Our parents watched it on TV before, but all us in TSGB have never seen it! So we are super super super pumped for her performance!!!

Mimi is in rehearsal right now.... This is going to be a long but very fun day.

Getting Ready for 2012!

Hey everyone! :)

So, it is almost the end of 2011..... Is everyone excited for the new year?!?!?!?!

WE ARE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This has been a great and VERY successful year. (We will be posting pictures of our concerts from this year soon...) 

2012 is looking to be SUPER excited!!! We have some of our biggest concerts and performances yet planned....Some out of state touring.... New covers for our youtube.....and some HUGE stuff we aren't allowed to talk about..... ;)

Hope that you guys are as excited for 2012 as we are!!! 

This week we are practicing and practicing for our show on January 5th. There will be celebrities and a fun audience....We are very much looking forward to it!  We are doing practice every day to make sure our set is solid.

Watsonville Strawberry Festival and Castroville Relay for life

Recently we played the Watsonville Strawberry Festival, which is one of our favorite gigs of the year! The sound is always amazing, the food is wonderful, and the people... Sooo welcoming!!


So this picture is from me playing an acoustic song from our set. To not waste any time I just wore both guitars at once :) lol




The show was very fun and we had a blast...

Next we headed to Castroville Relay for life and hung out there. We played an acoustic set and then some of us walked for the cause.

We have soooo many things coming up... So we will try to keep up with this blog better, so that you can come on our journey with us.

We made it to 2,000 subscribers on our YouTube account, "Tropicsensation". :) It has been under 4 months! Mimi and I started posting videos on February 6th, 2011. We have over 40 videos of covers and originals. It is soooooooo much fun to post with Mimi! Not only is Mimi super funny, and sweet, but she is also very very talented. She is a great singer, and she knows what she wants things to sound like. It is very cool to work with her. I feel that she really shares the same love for music that I do. 
  As soon as we hear a new song we like on the radio, we will look at eachother(at the same time, usually) and exclaim, "Lets learn this for our YouTube!!!!" :) :)
   I hope that someday someone sees our page. Maybe a celebrity will see that we did a cover of their song and fly us out to perform with them!! Or maybe Ellen will see us and bring us on her show? Or maybe Disney will say, "Those girls are the next big things!!!!!!"
         Hey. A girl can dream, right?? xD haha
